Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Program
About the CMRETAC AED Registry™
Healthcare, Education & Prevention
Central Mountains Regional Emergency Medical Trauma Advisory Council (CMRETAC) is a 501(c)(3) organization that is authorized and funded by state statute to provide a coordinated approach to emergency medical and trauma care. The region of service is almost the size of the state of New Jersey. The region has unique challenges that range from tens of thousands of travelers that do not reside in the area, to an active risk-taking population, and non-English speaking service working population. Additional challenges include limited access to medical care due to the fact of the rural designation and weather constricting mountainous roads.
